
I looked at this site, and got very interested with the fried rice with turmeric recipe.: it is very easy, quick, not so much ingredients, and mostly because it has Kencur, the Indonesian galange as one of the ingredients... cool, the taste must be very Indonesian then. The owner wrote that the spicier the better (or at least that is what i understand, hehe). I modified the recipe, as usual, and make the vegetarian version, hehe...yeah, i felt like i 've had enough of meat in one day! Too much McDonald's cheese burger in a day..yuck yummm, hehe.

Ingredients:
- 3 bowls of white rice (leftover from the previous day)
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 1 tomato, cut in dices
- 1 tsp tumeric powder
- 1 tsp kencur powder (Indonesian galange)
- 1 tbs of chopped chilies
- a bunch of Asian basil leaves
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tbs cooking oil
Side Veggies:
- cucumber, thinly sliced
- sprouts, blanched
Directions:
- Stir fry the shallots, tumeric, kencur, chillies.
- Add the rice, stir well until it is covered by the turmeric color.
- Add the tomato dices.
- Drop the basil leaves
- Pull from the stove.
- Serve with side veggies.
